"I suppose it depends. Lack of fear can be a sign of ignorance of consequences or denote a lack of caring about said consequences. I don't know if either of those would really be a desirable outcome. Even hypothetically, a complete absence of fear would not be an improvement." Edward had never really thought about it much, but it was still easy enough to arrive at that conclusion.
